What does this error code f16 mean?
The washing machine door is not closed or is locked in the closed position (a foreign object is in the way)
Bosch error signals
The washing machine does not respond to commands, and the hatch does not lock.
We check it ourselves and decide
- The washing machine is frozen and needs to be rebooted. Simply unplug it and let it rest for half an hour.
- Check the hatch latch groove; there should be nothing preventing it from closing;
- Try pressing the hatch harder when closing and try starting it again.
We replace and repair
- We replace the wires in the washing machine if they are damaged;
- We replace the hatch blocking device;
- We remove, diagnose and repair or replace the control board with a new one.
