Error code f61: Bosch washing machine. Causes

If you have a washing machine with a screen: electronic (with an LCD display) – and an error is displayed f61

What does this error code f61 mean?

Invalid door signal, hatch door safety lock activated.

Bosch error signals

Wash mode is cancelled, door is locked, indicators are locked, controls are locked.

We check it ourselves and decide

• To reset the program, press On/Off;
• The module may be frozen, unplug the washing machine for half an hour;
• Check the wires to the hatch locking device.

We replace and repair

1. We replace or repair the wiring to the hatch locking device;
2. The washing machine module is out of order, we replace it or repair it;
3. The hatch locking device has failed, we are replacing it with a new one.

Other washing machine errors:

• Error code f44 - no reverse rotation

• Error code f59 - 3D or memory failure
• Error code F60 - water flow sensor is not working properly
