What does this error code f16 mean?
This error only applies to top-loading washing machines.
Indesit error signals
The drum stops spinning during the program, stops, or does not start washing at all.
We check it ourselves and decide
- If the drum is spinning, try disconnecting it from the power supply for half an hour, this will allow the machine to reboot.
- Unplug the washing machine and try spin the drum inside by hand, if the drum does not rotate, it is possible that a foreign object has entered, for example bra underwire.
- When opening the washing machine, make sure that the hatch is in place. If it is not, then most likely it opened during washing and blocked the drum.
We replace and repair
- We check the washing machine's control module and, if there are any problems, replace or repair it.
- We replace the hatch blocking device if it is not working.
