During a long period of washing machine operation, you may see the code 2H, 3H or 4H on the two-digit monitor and mistake it for an error.
This can happen when using the "Baby Care" or "Cotton" programs, or when selecting additional options in other programs. What does the 2H code mean for a Samsung washing machine?
Explanation of error 2H
In modern Samsung machine models, the program shows the time remaining until the end of the wash. Typically, it's displayed on the screen in minutes. However, some machines have a two-digit display, and the time for a long program can only be displayed in hours. This means you see 2, 3, or 4 hours remaining until the end of the wash cycle. The letter "H" stands for "hour." Of course, in this case, you only know approximately how long the washing machine will run.
Focus on the following indicators:
- 100-180 minutes left if you see 2H on the display
- 180 – 240 minutes respectively when displaying 3H
- and if 4H, then there are at least 240 minutes left to wait.
