1. remove the container;
2. lay the machine on its side;
3. unscrew the bottom protection;
4. Remove the drain pump and hose. Place an absorbent cloth under the pump, as some water will spill out when you remove it.
5. disconnect the clamp to release the pipe;
6. unplug the plug from the drain pump sensor;
7. To remove the pump, loosen the clamp and unscrew the fasteners.
8. remove the drain pump, turn on the hot water tap and place a hose under it to flush out any debris and clear the passage for water;
9. secure the bottom;
10. Put the washing machine back and check if it works.

There may be different reasons for pump failure. The repair of a Samsung washing machine drain pump depends on the cause of the breakdown.

• If a clog isn't the issue, disassemble the pump: unscrew the volute. Take a photo of how the electric motor is connected to it so you can reassemble it correctly. If the problem is caused by the casing, which has become deformed from the hot water and the impeller blades are catching on it, trim each blade with a knife by no more than 1 mm. Otherwise, the washing machine's performance will be significantly reduced.

• Inspect all rubber seals. If any are cracked, worn, or torn, replace them.
• Sometimes the pulley fails. It can also be replaced.

• First remove the bottom bar of the front wall;
• remove the container; inside the niche where it was located there are fasteners that you will unscrew;
• remove the top cover;
• then use a screwdriver to unscrew all the screws on the control panel and remove it;
• carefully pull out the cuff clamp by prying it with a screwdriver and removing the fasteners holding the hatch;
• Unscrew all the bolts on the front wall and remove it;
• Check the heating element contacts by connecting the multimeter probes to them. If there are no faults, disconnect the fastener between the heating element contacts;
• Remove the heating element. Heating elements usually fail due to scale buildup from hard water. Replace the heating element with a different one;
• put the parts back in place in reverse order.

Remove the container, then unscrew the fasteners holding the retaining strips and remove the board. Disconnect the terminals, taking a photo of how and where they are connected beforehand to avoid mixing up the connectors later.

• Disconnect the cable wires from the pump and electric motor, having first photographed them for proper assembly.
• Remove the shock absorbers.
• Disconnect the water supply hoses and remove the hooks from the drum. This will remove the spring hangers. Remove the front panel: first the control unit, then the front panel with the drum. Remove the small counterweight so it's out of the way.

Now remove the drum housing, then the drive belt and wheel using an Allen key. Remove the shock absorbers by loosening the bolts.

Remove the clamps holding the two halves of the drum together, then the brackets. Remove the drum. You'll now see the bearing that needs to be replaced.

Using a wooden block and a hammer, tap the bearing out of its seat, take a new one, and insert it in its place. Reassemble the bearing.
